A arquitectura é a segunda natureza, uma que se enquadra nas necessidades do Homem, que vai mais além de funcões e formalismos e define a nossa natureza humana. A forma compacta e redonda da casa flutuante, a cobertura ondulada e as grandes aberturas circulares, leva-nos ao imaginário de Júlio Verne e das aventuras do capitão Nemo no oceano, dentro do Nautilus, o primerior submarino “ecológico”.
The architecture is the second nature, one that fits the needs of Man, that goes beyond formalities and functions and defines our human nature. The compact and round shape of the houseboat, the ondulated roof and the large circular openings, leads us to the imaginary of Jules Verne and the adventures of Captain Nemo in the ocean, within the Nautilus, the first “green” submarine.
